Madeline Andrew is an emerging textile and surface design artist based at Briggate Art Studio. Having spent most of her career as a scientist and teacher, Maddie is drawn to experimental artistic processes and currently works with cyanotype and eco-printing, creating bespoke fabrics, artworks and homewares using the local flora. Maddie is offering two workshops in the fascinating art of eco-printing on Tuesday 15th Aug at Briggate Art Studio, where you can use real leaves to create your own fabric or T-shirt, bringing the outside in.
