Lisa Makin exhibits at Honeybees at Hannah's

Lisa Makin is a talented local artist producing original coloured pencil animal drawings. She is living her dream, combining her two great loves: drawing and animals.

Lisa has had pets for as long as she can remember, and has a particular love of dogs. When it comes to art she loves drawing all domestic and wildlife animals, specialising in British wildlife.

She has worked in other careers, and has brought up two wonderful children. This didn't leave much time for her art but her love of drawing never left her and she is now lucky enough to pursue her art full time.

For customers wanting a very special piece of art, Lisa can produce original coloured pencil drawings of their beloved pets. She finds it a wonderful and humbling experience to be able to provide this service.

As well as her love of pets, Lisa takes inspiration from some of Britain’s best-loved wildlife found in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside she lives in. She uses these works to decorate gift items she sells via her website and on her market stall.
