The Claire Baxter Galleries in Knaresborough and Pateley Bridge is home to Claire’s painting, prints and fine art cards. She is renowned to capture ‘Yorkshire’ with a paint brush. Featuring real locations and depicting ‘Yorkshire lads and lasses’, Claire explores the wonders of the Yorkshire Dales with it’s stunning towns and idyllic coastline. Yorkshire has been the focus for many artists, but Claire brings her home county to life by storytelling through a ‘snap shot’. The anonymous characters and the titles of each piece all play their part in capturing humorous, nostalgic and sometimes romantic situations we can all relate to.

Claire was a finalist for UK most popular published artist 2022 and winner of Best Rural Business 2023 (Harrogate Business of Excellence Awards).
