Feva update 16th August

Simon Armitage 2

After a day of Art Workshops and Exhibitions, puppets in the Market Place, you know - the general FEVA mayhem, we calmed down to enjoy an evening with Poet Laureate Simon Armitage. And what a great time we had, with readings of his favourite works followed by a question and answer session. Simon stayed on to sign books provided by Castlegate Books. The Gothic Holy Trinity Church with its wonderful acoustics, proved a great setting for this much loved Yorkshireman.
