Beyond the Fence

Local authors Karen Haase and Julie Martin-Jones both discovered they enjoyed writing during an optician’s appointment. Over the Fence their first jointly-written novel, tells the story of Seren and Clarissa, two neighbours with contrasting views, whose lives are separated by a garden fence. Their diaries chronicle similar events which they experience in contrasting ways and lead to a catalogue of confrontations that get out of control.

The latest novel, Breaking the Fence, continues the story of Seren and Clarissa as they learn more about each other. Have they changed their views and judgements on each other’s lives over that fence…?
