As darkness falls over Knaresborough, follow a ghostly guide into the ancient graves of St John's Churchyard, where forgotten voices and restless souls gather beneath the night sky.

Inspired by the life and legacy of Yorkshire's legendary road builder, Blind Jack Metcalf, Blind Jack's Last Road blends live theatre, local history and folklore in a haunting after-dark experience. Along the way, you'll encounter lost souls, hidden stories and echoes from the past before discovering the truth behind Blind Jack's final road.

Created especially for FEVA 2026, this atmospheric production transforms St John's Churchyard into a living stage, exploring memory, loss and Yorkshire's enduring legends.

Ideal for lovers of ghost stories, history and immersive theatre, this unique outdoor event offers the chance to experience one of Knaresborough's most evocative locations after dark.

Please note: This outdoor performance lasts approximately 60 minutes and involves standing throughout. There is no seating. Please dress for the weather. The performance continues in light rain.
