Event Details

Knaresborough Cycling Club invites you to a fun, family bike ride, up and along the Greenway to Ripley Village. Dust of your bike, pump up your tyres and join in!

The ride will start at the front of Conyngham Hall at 10am. Join us from 09.30am when we will be offering help with your bike should you need it and a photo opportunity ahead of the mass start.

The ride is not a race, its run mainly on shared paths and a short piece of road, and you are encouraged to take your time over the five mile route. You will be supported by members of the cycling club along the route to help with any technical challenges or punctures that may arise, you will be directed and kept safe by marshals all along the route and watered and fed at Ripley Village Hall courtesy of the baking talents of members of the club! For those children taking part there will be a medal to recognise their achievement.

The ride is free, however we will have a box for donations for our chosen charity, St Michaels Hospice, at the finish.

We would encourage you to wear a helmet and bring water to take with you. There are no refreshments provided between the start and Ripley. After refreshments at Ripley, riders will then make their own way home.

Book your place on the FEVA website, corral friends and family into joining you and we look forward to welcoming you to the third Knaresborough Family Bike Ride.
