Hapa Zome Workshop

This two-hour workshop introduces participants to Hapa Zome, a traditional Japanese technique that involves hammering leaves and flowers onto fabric to transfer their natural pigments and create subtle botanical prints.

Participants will work with handmade natural materials prepared by Henshaws Arts & Crafts Centre and artist Douglas Black, using fresh plant cuttings and cotton fabric. All materials and tools are supplied. The session is suitable for all ages, providing a relaxed, inclusive setting in which children and adults can learn side by side.
