Much Ado About Nothing: Arts Award Discover in a Day

Join Yorkshire CREATE for a creative and fun-filled day at The Kingfisher Kiosk at Conyngham Hall, where young people can complete their Arts Award Discover in just one day—through the magic of Shakespeare!

This special event invites children and young people to explore the world of theatre by diving into one of Shakespeare’s best-loved comedies, Much Ado About Nothing. Throughout the day, participants will get hands-on with drama activities, explore the themes and characters of the play, and learn about the eco-conscious theatre company The Handlebards, known for their hilarious and high-energy cycling Shakespeare productions.

Optional Evening Bonus! Tickets are also available for young people and their families to stay on into the evening for a performance of Much Ado About Nothing by The Handlebards—a perfect way to end the day with laughter under the open sky.
