Ever wanted to try the potter’s wheel? Our free five-minute drop-in sessions are the perfect chance to get hands-on with clay and experience the magic of wheel throwing for yourself. Whether you’re a complete beginner or simply curious to see how pottery is made, this fun and friendly activity is open to all ages and abilities.

With guidance from our studio team, you’ll learn the basics of working on the wheel, from centring the clay to shaping your very own pot. It’s a wonderful introduction to pottery and a chance to enjoy the relaxing, creative process of making something by hand.

These short sessions are designed to be playful, accessible, and full of fun — ideal for families, children, adults, and anyone wanting to try something new. Expect a little mess, lots of laughter, and the unforgettable feeling of clay spinning beneath your fingertips.

The five-minute experience is completely free. If you would like to keep your pot, we can professionally fire and glaze it for you for £10, ready to collect at a later date.
