Amber Rose Newband Open Studio

Amber Rose Newband is a mixed-media textile artist whose practice explores material, texture and process. Working across drawing, watercolour, textiles and mixed media, she combines traditional techniques with reclaimed and recycled materials.

Her work is shaped by experimentation and an interest in the creative possibilities of found objects, including materials that might otherwise be discarded. Through layering, construction and playful exploration, Amber transforms everyday materials into thoughtful and visually engaging work.

Visitors to her Open Studio can see finished pieces, works in progress and examples of her experimental approach to materials and making.

Amber is exhibiting as part of Bravo Studios Open Studios during FEVA 2026.

Venue information

Bravo Studios is home to artists working across painting, printmaking, textiles, papercutting, basketry, knitting and weaving. Several resident artists are taking part in FEVA 2026, joined by 12 guest artists for the Bravo Studios Art Market.

The studios are fully accessible, including toilet facilities. Free parking is available and refreshments will be available to purchase.

Hexagon House is close to St James Retail Park, halfway down Grimbald Crag Close on the right-hand side, immediately after the driving test centre.
