Event Details

Join us at Marigolds Café for a captivating exhibition featuring the works of three local artists: Catt van Leijen, Zoë Nicholson, and Zoe Phillips. This showcase offers a rich diversity of artistic styles and themes, highlighting the unique talents of each artist.

Catt van Leijen presents "Into the Blue," an exploration of human connectivity to water through paintings, drawings, collage, and sculpture. Inspired by her love of swimming and nature, Catt’s work features layered cyanotype prints and mixed media pieces, incorporating natural materials collected from wild swimming.

Zoë Nicholson exhibits "Wonderings and Wanderings," a collection of studies in charcoal and ink, alongside paintings that address environmental changes in rivers and landscapes. Using traditional and organic materials, Zoë’s art captures emotional responses to ecological crises, combining abstraction and realism to celebrate the natural world.

Zoe Phillips (By Deckle and Hide) presents "The Narrative of the Object," a mixed media exploration of our connections with objects and the stories they hold. Inspired by museum aesthetics and traditional crafts, Zoe’s work examines themes of disability and accessibility, using objects to question societal perceptions and narratives.
