Platforms and Paint

Paul Mirfin, a local artist, musician, and railwayman, presents "Platforms & Paint" at Track and Sleeper. Paul’s artistic journey began with painting railway infrastructure, but his portfolio has since expanded to include a wide variety of subjects. His unique perspective and artistic talent have earned him significant recognition, including a commission received by King Charles III, now housed at Clarence House, and an exhibition at the London OXO Tower.

Paul’s work captures the essence of both the mundane and the extraordinary, bringing to life the beauty of everyday scenes and historical landmarks. Featured works in this exhibition include "Union of South Africa steams through Knaresborough," "Hadrian's Wall in Northumberland," and "Knaresborough Signal Box."
