Paul Mirfin: Open Studio
Event Details
Visit Paul Mirfin’s Open Studio at 10 Brewerton Street during Feva from August 10th to 18th, open daily from 10am to 4pm. Paul, a local artist, musician, and railwayman, began painting during lockdown and has quickly gained recognition, including a feature on BBC Look North and a commission for King Charles III.
Paul’s exhibition, “Platforms & Paint,” is also showcased at Track and Sleeper. His diverse range of subjects, initially inspired by railway infrastructure, now encompasses a variety of themes. Notable works include “Union of South Africa steams through Knaresborough,” “Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland,” and “Knaresborough Signal Box.”
